Want to join our social media team?
Our Social Media team is made up volunteers from all around the world. We’ve had content writers and designers from all over the U.S., Australia, England, Germany, and more. Our heart is to use social media to communicate and celebrate healthy sexuality and shift global mindsets towards sexuality. We’re excited that you’re interested in joining our team.
What our social team looks like:
Access to Our Content: As a social media member, you’ll have access to all of our video series, books, blogs, and media. You’ll also get discounted merch on our store. Our heart is not only to equip you as an individual, but also help equip you to steward our message clearly.
6 month minimum: Our hearts are to build community within our team, so we ask that if you are on our team- you’d stay committed to your role for at least 6 months.
Weekly writing: Submit your weekly writing (4 weeks worth of content) on Mondays at 5pm (PST)- be sure that it is checked for grammar.
Staying up to date with our resources: If you are on our team, we trust that you will stay updated with our content in order to be on the same page with our team regardless if you are in office or work remotely. We post a new blog every other week, a podcast each month, and YouTube videos when available.
Team meetings: We will have monthly team meetings with our social media group. These meetings will take place on the last Friday of every month at 11am (PST) for 45 minutes. These are times to connect, cover one another, and give you social media updates. If you are unable to attend the meetings, we ask that you watch the recording and send in your updates. If you would like a more in depth meeting specifically on writing, social media content, or have questions for our team- you can book a monthly 15 minute touch base with Sloane Wilson, our social media team overseer, and she would be happy to meet with you!
Time Commitment: Overall, you can expect to give 5-7 hours a week to writing and/or meetings.
Interested in Joining?
We ask all those interested in joining our social media team to 1) let us know about yourself and 2) submit some sample writings. The writings we’re looking for is the content that we put out on a regular basis: Instagram and Facebook posts. We ask for you to submit two Instagram memes and descriptions and two Facebook posts. These posts should be content similar to what you see already on our pages, in the area of healthy sexuality. Please read our social media writers guidelines to help you grasp our tone, voice, and heart behind our work.
