WHO’S SPEAKING?

COLE & CAITLIN ZICK

Cole and Caitlin Zick currently serve as the directors of Moral Revolution in Redding, California. Before moving to Redding, they led the youth ministry at Capital Christian Center in Sacramento. In 2014, they launched My City Conference, a youth and young adult conference focused on unity in the Sacramento region.

Cole is passionate about seeing the church come together to be effective and thrive in every area of life. As a couple, they have made sexuality a key focus of their ministry as they openly and vulnerably share their story about their first years of sex in marriage hoping to see others find freedom through it.

Caitlin is the author of, “Look at You, Girl” which shows her passion about turning up the truth in a culture that is drowning in lies. In a world that deems sex as casual she shares the story of how it was more like a casualty to her soul and then her journey to healing and freedom.

Leading together, they share their marriage, sex and parenting experiences to start conversations and begin to unfold God’s healthy design of sex. They have also started their own little zoo, known as #thezickzoo. You can find their wild life on Instagram with their little animals: Caleb, Connor, Cade and Chloe Rose.

BARRY & LORI BYRNE

Barry Byrne has been a marriage and family therapist for over 30 years, as well as a devoted student of God’s Word. He has ministered at Bethel Church in Redding, California, in the Transformation Center both as a teacher and supervisor to the counselors. His wisdom, experience and anointing in the area of Spirit-led inner-healing are powerfully matched with the Father’s heart of love to bring about life-changing breakthrough for hundreds of clients and participants.

Lori Byrne is a fourth-generation pastor with a strong gift of discernment and the prophetic. Having done pastoral counseling and inner-healing for years within the church, she draws from a vast wealth of wisdom and experience in connecting and building intimate relationships in the body of Christ.

Barry and Lori have been married since 1979, and currently reside in Redding, CA and are on staff at Bethel Church. The delight of their lives are their 4 adult sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren, who are all involved in various ways with their ministry.

Who is this event for?

This is for married couples who want more out of their sex life. Whether you have felt or unfelt limitations that seem to be holding you back, this is for you. If you find past trauma, unmet expectations, performance experiences, or even your upbringing causing tension in your sex life, we want to meet you there. Even if you find yourself stalled in your sex life and not sure why it’s not getting better, this is for you.

We’ve brought in Christian counselors who have decades of experiences walking with married couples through deep intimate connections not just in the bedroom but in the whole marriage.

Is this good for engaged couples?

We love the way you’re thinking! We want you to prepare well for your sex life as a new married couple. This session is more specifically targeted towards married couples who are already having sex. Some of the talk and exercises will encourage thoughts or behaviors that won’t be helpful or conducive to waiting until your wedding day.
